If you are a teacher in the US or Canada, check with your teachers’ association for possible Disney discounted tickets.
Disney Discounts – College Students
Many universities in Southern California offer one-day, one-park Disneyland and Disney California Adventure tickets at major Disney discounts for their students. If you are a college student, check with your school.
Disney Discounts – Youth Groups
If you will be taking a group of 10 or more kids (between ages 3 and 18) to Disneyland, call the Youth Group Sales department at (800) 232-7980 or go to disneyyouth.com for more information.
Disney Discounts – AAA
If you have AAA and you want to stay in a Disney Resort, call the Disneyland Resort Reservations and ask for AAA rates instead of calling AAA directly. This may save you more money because AAA sells more “vacation packages” rather than just room reservations. Call AAA directly to get discounts on pre-paid parking.
Disney Discounts – Annual Passholders
Passholders may qualify for Disney discounts — call and ask for “Annual Passholder Rates.” The general discount is 10% off regular hotel rates. However discounts are not always available.
Disney Other Discounts
The Disneyland hotels will sometimes advertise special rates in the LA Times and the San Diego Union-Tribune. These rates are generally available to anyone who asks not just local residents. Ask for the “LA Times Rate” or the “San Diego Union-Tribune Rate.”
Disney Discounts Discontinued- Seniors and Birthdays
Unfortunately as of December 2012 the senior discounts have been discontinued.
Disney used to let you into their parks for free if it was your birthday. They stopped doing this around 2009. You can still get a free badge that says it’s your birthday, but that is about it.
