There are 3 Disneyland hotels. The luxury hotel adjacent to Disney California Adventure theme park is the Grand Californian. There are also older, refurbished properties: Paradise Pier Hotel and the original Disneyland Hotel.

Disneyland hotel guests receive access to Extra Magic Hours at Disneyland one hour before the park opens to the public on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Extra Magic Hours guests usually get access to most Fantasyland attractions, the Matterhorn and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Star Tours, Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear. Valid theme park admission and active hotel room key required.

Disneyland hotel guests will also have length-of-stay access to Extra Magic Hours at Disney California Adventure one hour before the park opens to the public on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Extra Magic Hours guests get access to select attractions in Cars Land, Golden State, Hollywood Land and Paradise Pier and more.

If you book in the off-season you will save the most money with Disneyland Resorts and some of the hotels near Disneyland. Value Season is the least expensive and least crowded time considered to be January, February, last three weeks of October, first three weeks of November, and first three weeks of December. The Regular Season is mid-priced and is usually the months of March, early and late April, May and June, and last week of August through first week of October. The most expensive and crowded time of year is Peak Season which is mid-April, July, first three weeks of August, and dates around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.
